Retention Periods

The following table sets out our standard retention periods for each category of data we process:

Anonymised Data

Where you or a parent/guardian has given separate consent, personal data may be retained in irreversibly anonymised form after the retention period above. Anonymised data (as defined under GDPR Recital 26) is no longer personal data and may be retained indefinitely for squad-level statistics, benchmarking, and coaching research.

Your Right to Earlier Deletion

You may request deletion of your data at any time before the retention period expires. To make an erasure request, contact kieran@signaltennis.com. We will process your request within one calendar month as required by GDPR.

Please note:

  • Data required by law (e.g. payment records for 6 years) cannot be deleted early
  • Data that has been irreversibly anonymised (with your consent) falls outside the scope of erasure requests
  • Public Tennis Data (tournament results, rankings) remains available from its original public source regardless of any erasure request
